Aoquin Dragon, who was hidden for ten years! Mysterious Chinese Cyberwing comes to light

The Chinese cyber group that carried out the cyber attacks hid for ten years without giving any hints to anyone. That is the Aoquin Dragon. Joe Chen, an expert at Sentinel Labs, has now discovered this gang, which mainly targeted Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam for cyber attacks. Joe Chen says their main agenda is cyber espionage.

 Aoquin Dragon infects victims' servers and networks by sending Word documents containing virus programs and installing backdoors such as Mongal and Hyoka on victims' computers.

 Joe Chen also says that Aoquin Gragon uses political documents and pornographic images to lure victims into installing the virus. It is sent through emails.

 Sometimes they also release fake versions of antivirus programs for the same purpose. Aoquin Dragon targets government, educational, and telecommunications organizations. Joe Chen says that their activities are often based on the political and international agendas of the Chinese government. There are accusations at the international level that China is leaking information from many government and non-government organizations. Joe Chen says that the hands of Aoquin Dragon are behind this. It has not been revealed that there is such a cyber attack gang in the cyber space for so long. Sentinel Lab officials say that Aoquin Dragon mostly targets institutions in Australia. In recent times, international relations between China and Australia have been strained. Australia has made clear its stance against the Taiwan issue and China's growing influence in the South Pacific. Some experts say that China has imposed more cyber surveillance on Australia because of this.

 China has been paying a lot of attention to cyber warfare since the last decade. China's Ministry of State Security (MSS) and Ministry of Public Security (MPS) have many hackers. There have also been reports that up to 100,000 hackers are working directly or indirectly with the Chinese Ministry of Defense.
