 Notification for 2800 Agniveer (SSR) vacancies in the Indian Navy has been published in the July 9-15 issue of the Central Government publication 'Employment News'. Admission is for November 2022 batch. The opportunity is for single women and men. The appointment is for four years.

 Apply online from 15th to 22nd July. Eligibility: Plus two pass in Maths and Physics (one subject in Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science should be studied).

 Age: Born between 1st November 1999 and 30th April 2005.

 Salary (in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year respectively): 30,000; 33,000; 36,500; 40,000.

 Physical Qualification: Height-Male: 157 cm; Female: 152 cm.

 Selection: Through Written Test and Physical Test. The physical test will have the following items.

 Male: 1.6 km run, 20 squats, 12 push ups in 6 minutes 30 seconds.

 Female: 1.6 km run, 15 squats, 10 sit ups in 8 minutes.

 Training: The training will begin in November at INS Chilka, Odisha.
